Salary: Based upon qualifications and certifications, with benefits available after 90 days. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life/disability insurance, and PERSI retirement.

Must monitor and adjust gravity irrigation flows for approximately 3,200 acres (mixed urban/rural). Will also monitor, clean, and maintain associated canals, laterals, and delivery headgates 7 days a week through irrigation season. Ditchrider will also take water orders or water emergency phone calls from a District supplied cell phone on a daily basis. Post irrigation season is full-time as well, performing maintenance related tasks within the entire irrigation district.

•Must pass pre-employment drug testing and random testing thereafter.
This position must also:
•Have or the ability to obtain Class A CDL w/air endorsement.
•Have a clean driving record.
•Must have the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
